Visiting the Churchill War Rooms
Visiting the Churchill War Rooms is a MUST for any fans of history.
Our visit here was fascinating. So much history happened here in the Churchill War Rooms and the way the tour is presented is amazing.
There are high-tech, interactive presentations in the museum room (videos/activities). They also offer headphones so you can hear the monologue as you walk around the underground fortress.

Their restaurant (mid-tour) offers good foods. Their rhubarb juice is superb! It’s super energizing and hydrating.
If you are a history lover and you love learning about World War 2, definitely consider visiting the Churchill War Rooms. I know after I watched Darkest Hour, I put this location on my list. If you’ve ever seen the Darkest Hour, you know that so many decisions affecting the outcome of the war were made in these rooms.
Visiting here is being in the place where history happened.
I’d love to hear your thoughts of the War Rooms. If you’ve ever been or if you’re looking to go, I’d love to know! And if you’re looking for more posts on noteworthy travels, visit here.
