My name is Mallory Elizabeth. Welcome and thank you for landing on my page.
A little about me: I am a photographer, a writer, a recently graduated grad student, and though I am very busy, I’m a traveler.
I know your type. Traveling makes you feel free and the traveling you feels like the best you. Then life cuts in and you miss traveling and who you are when you travel.
So…this blog is for you.
You–who loves traveling but being busy gets in the way.
Look I get it.
I could probably re-define the definition of busy. I’ve been very busy for years. I do it to myself, really.
While getting 2 associate degrees, I managed to visit Montana, Washington, and explore all around California.
During my bachelor’s, I worked part-time, graduated with a 4.0 GPA for my English degree. I minored in writing, where I would write, edit, and revise 75-90 pages of polished writing each semester. I was a treasurer for my honor society, a secretary for organizations, and a member in several honor societies.
But I visited NYC, Washington D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, and California all during my last 2 years of college.
And while I was a full-time grad student and full-time employee, I visited Ireland, England, Texas, Oklahoma and New York. And I’ve managed to hike here and there while living in California. All during grad school.
So I get it. I get being busy and being burnt out.
My point is this: busyness can be what our season(s) looks like. But there are ways to travel. It is possible.
My Mission
My mission is to give you the high-fives you need to not fall into “busyness” and to encourage you to do something… even if it’s only for 2 hours on a weekend once a month, or something small on a long weekend.
My mission is to make traveling and adventure a part of your life, giving you ideas on how to make faraway trips happen and inspire you to live adventure out in your daily life.
Whether you travel near or far, traveling can be part of your everyday.
Here’s to everyday travels and everyday positivity for living the best we can. X
