Quarantine slowly seems to be lifting its hold on society. While the return towards “normal” seems to be in the horizon, it also seems far from grasp.
For many of us, quarantine represented a prolonged period for quality time at home. And for others, quarantine felt like a damper on normal activities. This post is those who felt themselves in both situations, in between normal and the return to normal.
Now look, I love a good Netflix/Amazon Prime binge as much as the next person but even if you’ve been wanting a break, there can still be a limit. I’m talking about building things with lasting value and impacting people beyond a moment, a minute, or an hour. It’s time to invest time into things that provide a good return on investment (ROI). Amusement can distract us in the present and feel gratifying, but this time can be purposed for better things—higher things.
How do you want to remember how you handled quarantine?
As we near what is hopefully the end of quarantine, ask yourself: did you do plant those seeds, invest in those hobbies, or grow the way you wanted to?
I’d love to hear your thoughts. What have you been working toward?
