Recommendation

Our day trip to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher from The Dublin Tour Company is one I cannot recommend any higher! The day trip was PHENOMENAL.

The Day Trip

The tour begins early in the morning in Dublin and takes you to the city of Galway, a medieval city filled with history, charm, and the story of the city and the Claddagh ring.

At Galway, the tour company takes the group on a walking tour to visit the Thomas Dillon store (the original designers of the Claddagh ring), the Spanish Arch, Eyre Square, and more. Afterwards, you get an hour to walk around, shop, eat, and visit the sights.

After Galway, we visited The Burren. The Burren dates back to the stone age and is breathtaking. Then, we made our way to the Cliffs of Moher.

Our way to the cliffs are filled with some amazing and beautiful sights of the Irish coastline.

Last Remarks

This day trip was filled with stories about Ireland, beautiful stories full of magic, beauty, and wonder.

All I can say is I’m thankful we didn’t rent a car. Without this tour, we would’ve missed the history and stories that make Ireland come alive.

At the end of the tour, we had dinner in Doolin at McGann’s Pub & Restaurant. Let me tell you something. Their food is PHENOMENAL. I had the Irish beef and vegetable stew and the fish and chips. I could not be more impressed.

We had been in London for over a week and had lived in England for a few years and this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.

Our day trip from Dublin, which took us to Galway, The Burren, The Wild Atlantic Way, the Cliffs of Moher, and Doolin was filled with wonder and adventures I’ll cherish forever.

The trip with the Dublin Tour Company has my highest recommendation. I only wish we had more time to take more trips!
